This site is specifically constructed for drop-shipping and automation. This customer required a full business solution for their online store. In order to implement this solution, Energy began with their phone system. A phone system using Asterisk and Trixbox was developed to hand their incoming calls with an IVR (interactive voice response), time conditions (a different message if the business is closed), extensions, and voicemails for all of their employees. The phone system is capable of handling multiple phone numbers and routes their calls according to the phone number called. It is a full-scale VOIP solution.

In addition to the telephony portion of their business, the website is set up update in a fully automated manner. Every week, the site checks Elegant Gown's wholesale supplier websites for any changes in product availability, discontinued products, or new products. If it finds any changes, it updates it's internal database automatically and will download any images associated with new products. This keeps the site fresh with all of the latest information from their suppliers. This check is performed weekly, so there are rarely issues with refunds due to discontinued products.

After updating products, Elegant Gown's website submits product data to no less than three shopping comparison engines. This makes sures that users can find the product they are looking for at Elegant Gown. The site is also capable of sending order emails to suppliers based on the day's orders. A daily report is sent to site administrators with the previous day's order information. This is all made possible through custom modules written by Energy.
